The device is used to measure threads of a fixed length, used together with a balance to take measurements of threads and capable of winding a fixed number of threads in accordance with tear testing machine in testing of thread arranging test.
This instrument is designed for preparing leas of 120 yards or in meter of accurate length with uniform tension. It has an automatic yarn spreading device and stop motion. The stop motion will put off the automatic wrap reel automatically on the completion of full leas. Motorized Wrap Reel is used to wind yarn thread to a specified length, and then to test its strength of lea and quality. It can also be used for calculating the yarn count.
