Water Absorption Tester
Laboratory Water Absorption Tester (Klemn Type)
This instrument is used for measuring the degree of water absorption. i.e. to check the capillary rise in millimeters by suspending a specimen in a vat filled with water. The capillary rise of water in fabrics is the water distance rise in a strip of a fabric suspended vertically with its lower end immersed in water. According to the way of Klemn test, this instrument is used to do the water absorption test of paper and cardboard. Drop the sample’s lower side in the water vertically and read the height of capillary rise in ten minutes. This equipment is suitable for blotting paper, absorbency paper and other similar grade of paper which are having water absorption to high.
